There have been eyewitnesses’ reports to the court to confirm that it was him behind the wheel. They even added that he was drunk, so drunk that he fell when he got out of the car before he ran away.
Allegedly, in September of 2002, the actor was driving a Toyota Land Cruiser that ran over a group of people sleeping outside a bakery in Bandra; of the five people, one was killed and the rest injured. If successfully identified by the eyewitnesses, and convicted, Salman may spend ten years in prison.
