Seems like #BollyTalks can’t go a week without telling you about Ranbir Kapoor. Katrina Kaif played her part as doting girlfriend and hosted birthday celebrations for Kapoor who turned 32 on September 28, but he did not stay for the entire thing.
Don’t worry, it was nothing sinister, Kapoor had to cut things short to leave for surgery.
“He was hospitalised. It was just a minor surgery, nothing serious,” said an official from the Mumbai facility, where he was treated.
Apparently, the hardworking actor got a five-day break from work, and decided to use those days to take care of an ongoing, troublesome tonsil situation.
The adenoid tonsil surgery was necessary for Kapoor who sometimes had to sleep with his mouth open to help him breathe better. You’ll be happy to know that he was discharged with no issues and is doing fine.
And here’s something else that you may not have known about Kaif’s boyfriend: he is a big football fan.
Reports are that he bought shares in the Mumbai City football club (Mumbai FC). He was quoted in an interview as saying: “It’s always been a dream to be a part of a football team as a fan. Now to own one is something I never imagined.”
Ranbir’s next project is Roy with Jacqueline Fernandez and Arjun Kapoor.
