ICYMI, a photographers’ union, made a decision to boycott Salman Khan after some members were manhandled by the star’s bodyguards during a recent promotional event.
Reacting to a newspaper report last Monday, Salman tweeted: “This is wat I call a stand, the photographers r gonna lose out on wrk, but hv still taken a decision not to take my pics, happy fr them. I wld hv immense respect for them if they keep this stand.”
He doesn’t seem to be too bothered by the “ban” does he? The association apparently wanted the actor to apologise, but the makers of Kick believe that he does not need to “express regret for something he isn’t responsible for.”
And just so you know that it really doesn’t matter to him, Salman adds: “It’s fine…now I can come in front of you and do the towel dance and you can’t click those pictures. Now what will happen...there are photographers who will take my pictures, they will travel with me and release those pictures for my fans.”
He is not the only celeb to have the same ban, newcomer Shraddha Kapoor also made headlines recently when she snubbed the paparazzi.
So, I guess if we were looking for photographic evidence of this supposed “gift”, there may not be any. It is rumoured that Khan bought an apartment for his Kick co-star Jacqueline Fernandez. In an interview from the Mumbai Mirror, Jacqueline was quoted as saying, “Really? So where is this apartment? I’ve been saving up forever and now can afford to buy a nice car but a house is still a pipe dream.” She really cannot understand why people believes the gossip, and says that it “negates all the hard work” she puts in.
