Come, June 8, the Pan in De Country Side caravan will make its second stop for the year in Biche.

The Pan Trinbago initiative to take the steelbands in far-flung areas of T&T continues as the steelpan body continues to showcase the national musical instrument.

Pan in De Countryside will pitch camp at the Biche Recreation Grounds, (turn left by the Biche Police Station), from 5 pm until 11 pm.

Pan Trinbago is inviting the public to the Pan in De Countryside series of concerts as well as to enjoy the local fare put on by the villagers.

The next stop for Pan in De Countryside will be Tobago.

After a successful premiere at Phase II Pan Groove, the Northern Region of Pan Trinbgao will hold the second instalment of its NGC-sponsored Pan 1.2.3....Plus on Father’s Day, in Trinidad All Stars panyard.

This steelband event is a steal of a deal as admission is just $50.

It is safe to say that Carnival 2014 has begun.

Last Friday night, Paparazzi Carnival successfully hosted its Float Cooler Cruise, aboard the Harbour Master to launch the theme of its C2K14 presentation – CenterStage.

Landlubbers aboard had the time of their lives dancing to the music of DJs Merry Perry, Niko, Studio Guyz Movement, Gilmer and Audio.

A live performance by Olatunji also had the crowd moving until the boat docked.

Paparazzi Carnival will officially launch CentreStage on July 31, at Pier 1, Chaguaramas.
