British trio Blake brought the audience to its feet at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (Napa), Port-of-Spain, last Saturday evening with its performance at a special gala to raise money for the T&T Cancer Society.
Known for its versatility across the genres, the trio delivered a number of favourites including Nessun Dorma, With or Without You, Jerusalem and Up Where We Belong.
The Love Movement, led by Bernadette Laughlin, also gave a spectacular performance that was enhanced by costuming and set design by Brian MacFarlane.
The money raised from this concert will go to the Cancer Society’s efforts to purchase a digital mammography unit to help increase the early detection rate of breast cancer.
