
Raymond Choo Kong Productions is staging the comedy, It Runs In The Family, at Napa, Port-of-Spain from July 26 to July 28.
Set at the fictional “Mt Hope General Hospital” the plot revolves around Dr Collimore as he tries his best to satisfy his boss and his wife as well as cover up an unexpected dark secret, after a mysterious woman from his past makes a surprise visit and drops a bombshell on him.
Raymond Choo Kong who plays the conniving Dr Collimore is supported by a cast that includes Patti-Anne Ali as the overly supportive wife; Kearn Samuel and Trevon C Jugmohan as quirky and misguided doctors; Abeo Jackson as a pompous matron and Dr Helmer Hilwig, who in real life is a senior doctor at the Mt Hope Hospital.
A release from the producers said the cast also includes: Gyerlini Clarke, Chris Smith, Tracey Edwards, Ramona Tim Kee, Charles Michael Reid, Netfa Haynes, and Arnold Goindhan.
The release further stated that the young actors wish to thank Choo Kong for giving them this acting opportunity and for his efforts to introduce a new generation to comedy and the field of theatre arts.
The last three performances of It Runs In The Family takes place from Friday to Sunday and tickets are available at the Napa box office which is open from noon to 6 pm daily.
